The body was found by his son-in-law Peter Rhodes, a local antiques dealer and the victim's wife was in London. When Fallon's doctor advises Morse that Henry didn't have the physical capability to hold a gun to his head, the police realize they may have a murder on their hands. When the police are told that the business arrangement between Fallon and Rhodes had fallen apart, they also have a suspect. Lewis is concerned that Morse is too close to Mrs. Fallon to be objective but in the end, the perpetrators are identified.

qing 208.111.110.192偶然在电影频道的节目预告瞥到就看完了，其实吧，如果作为普通观众的视角去看，还是不错的。奢华是有的，但也没那么恐怖，如果真像盛传的那样估计小四也没那么多预算吧。演员，就不评论了，萝卜青菜各有所爱。原著是多年前电子书看的，大致情节还记得，细节有点遗忘了不过电影版中的友谊还是很动人的。 -
